On January 20, 2021, the feast of Blessed Basil Anthony Moreau, seven women were received into the Congregation’s International Novitiate. They are: Sisters Anuaritah Patience Masika, Linda Suurbeta Bonye, Rita Boakyewaa Konadu, Tripty Teresa Gomes, Dantilang Mynsong, Shimti Mukhim, and Supty Mrong.
Due to COVID-19 travel restrictions, the reception was celebrated virtually. With the permission of Congregation President Sister M. Veronique (Wiedower), CSC, and the consent of her council, the novices are following the novitiate program in their home countries of Bangladesh, Uganda, Ghana and India. They will be taking online classes and receiving support from novice directors, who are collaborating with sister mentors in each country. We celebrate with these sisters and hold them in prayer as they continue this next phase of life in Holy Cross!
