Living the mission

In my ministry I work with families in the Fort Portal Diocese of western Uganda, helping them to see and experience God’s love. I encourage them to share and work together as members of one body, who is Jesus Christ, respecting each other, praying and staying together, and being responsible members of the family. I meet with them in their homes, villages, workplaces and churches and through radio and video programs. I teach, counsel and give advice on family relationships based on the Gospel. As a result, their relationships have improved as these families try to live according to Christ’s teachings to love one another. This ministry helps me feel a part of these people, sharing their challenges and difficulties, joys and happiness. 

Sister Theresia resides in Fort Portal in Uganda, East Africa.
