Employment Opportunities

Sisters of the Holy Cross Inc. is committed to providing competitive salaries and pay ranges for all positions, which are based on current market data.

It is the policy of Sisters of the Holy Cross Inc. that, as required by law, equal employment opportunities be available to all employees and job applicants in hiring, promotion, discharge, compensation and other terms, conditions and privileges of employment, without regard to race, color, national origin, sex, age, religion, veteran status, citizen status, disability, sexual orientation or any other category protected by law.

Appropriate steps will be taken to provide reasonable accommodations upon request to qualified individuals with disabilities, so long as doing so does not cause an undue hardship.

Individuals under age 18 who have not yet graduated from high school, as well as anyone who is a resident alien or not a citizen of the United States must obtain and provide to Human Resources a valid work authorization permit.

If a previously valid authorization expires during the course of employment, the employee cannot be allowed to work again until Human Resources has received the proper authorization document. It is the responsibility of the employee to maintain acceptable work authorization status; failure to do so will result in termination of employment.

Human Resources will conduct job reference checks on all employment candidates as part of the process of extending a job offer. Reference checks include former employers, personal references and other sources. Unsatisfactory references or falsification of information on the employment application may lead to no offer of employment or subsequent discharge.
