Main Entrance

The bricks of the main façade are assembled in the form of a cross, surrounded by radiating shafts. The triple-gated entrance is flanked by two towers, which are dedicated to the archangels Gabriel and Michael. Above each of the three doors is a semicircular bas-relief in brick. The events depicted are the Annunciation (south door); the translation of the Holy House of Loreto* (center door); and the Nativity of the Lord (north door).
