The formal Rite of Beatification was celebrated in the public arena in Le Mans’
Centre Antarès. The notice of the beatification was displayed in huge letters
in the front of the arena. Many of the townspeople stood along the road waving
as the 12 buses of Holy Cross religious rolled by with police motorcycles as escort.
