Our Lady of Holy Cross School
Kasoa, Ghana
Our Lady of Holy Cross School is the sisters’ newest sponsored ministry. It began as a pilot preschool project in 2006 in a rented house in Kasoa. A new building was completed and opened in September 2008. Plans are in place to expand the primary school to secondary education as the students progress. There are approximately 150 students in the nursery, kindergarten and first- and second-level classes. Sister Esther Adjoa Entsiwah is the school’s headmistress.
CSC Fund/Ministry With the Poor grant recipients
for 2009-2010:

Sister Esther Adjoa Entsiwah received funds for the school’s feeding program, funding for scholarships for children from low-income families, and funds to purchase educational materials, defray monthly employer social security contribution, and provide a stipend to two Saint Mary’s College graduates who will volunteer at the school from September 2009 to June 2010.
