Alexander the Sweet Conquers All Hearts

Six-month-old Alexander the Sweet appears to be as mighty as his “Great” historical namesake. But, in his case, it’s hearts that he conquers, rather than continents.

Little Alexander was born in a colony of wild cats near Holy Cross Ministries in Salt Lake City, Utah, where Sister Mary Ann Pajakowski conducts a trap, neuter, and return program for feral cats.

One day, Sister Mary Ann found this very wobbly kitty in one of her humane traps. The vet said he had suffered some minor neurological damage, but appeared healthy otherwise. Still, he wasn’t going to do well living in a feral colony. So we arranged to bring him to the sanctuary.

Little Alexander made fast friends with Jinx, another kitten. It was a winning combo, and both are now in a wonderful new home in Las Vegas, Nevada.
