19:33 Offering initiative

In ongoing response to the needs of immigrants and refugees in many parts of the world, the Congregation of the Sisters of the Holy Cross is undertaking a new initiative called the “19:33 Offering.”

Resources for Crafting Op-Ed articles

On 31 January, the Sisters of the Holy Cross released a public statement against United States President Trump's executive orders on immigration and refugee resettlement.  In light of this growing concern about the potential impacts of these executive orders, the Leadership Conference of Women Religious (LCWR)—an association of leaders of congregations of Catholic women religious in the United States—in addition to releasing the LCWR public statement, is encouraging others to make public statements and to engage in writing opinion pieces and letters to the editor. LCWR recommends the following resources for assistance in crafting such letters:
