Our Story

In the 1830s and ’40s, Father Basil Anthony Moreau founded the family of Holy Cross — priests, brothers and sisters — to serve the people of God. Since their beginning, the Sisters of the Holy Cross have always endeavored to discern the needs of the time and respond.
